Who We Are
Women in Focus Chicago is an artist-initiated organization of women photographers who have joined together to support and promote the photographic arts.
Opportunities
Women in Focus Chicago provides opportunities for its members in an environment that fosters creativity, knowledge sharing and connection within the creative community. Workshops, lectures, photoshoots, networking and exhibits are some of the opportunities we make available to members.
Community Outreach
Another important part of the group’s mission is community outreach, and members volunteer their photographic talents to worthy causes every year, with special emphasis on education and encouragement for women and children.
Meetings
We meet the second Monday every other month at the Bloomingdale Arts Center, 2418 W. Bloomingdale, Chicago, in the community room, courtesy of the Near NorthWest Arts Council (NNWAC).

Join Us
Women in Focus is open to all women photographers. You're welcome to attend a meeting and meet us. If you're interested in joining in our collective activities, we ask you to make an annual contribution of $30 to cover the costs of participating in meetings, speakers, events and exhibits.
